Walking paranoia

C is starting to walk.  She's taken 1-2 steps without holding on but quickly grabs for anything to catch her....sofa, coffee table, my legs.

i am completely paranoid that when she does this, she sort of "hangs" onto the object.  I worry that she is going to hit her head.

  • It is scary at first, but they learn quickly to fall on their butts. Just baby proof everything you can! We have padding around our coffee table and end tables.

  • I know what you mean...we just went through this. First she had to learn how to fall on her butt and recently she started noticing cause and effect and I think that is helping her to avoid many bumps and bruises now. She still probably gets a bruise on
